For Immediate Release: Creekstone Farms Confirms Beef Shipment To South Korea Creekstone Farms Premium Beef, LLC confirmed today that it has shipped approximately 14,000 lbs. of beef to South Korea. The beef, shipped by air, arrived at Incheon International Airport this morning. The shipment which contains a variety of items will undergo thorough inspections and upon approval be released from quarantine within the next two to three weeks. This marks Creekstone’s second shipment of beef to South Korea since the outright ban was lifted in October of 2006. “Although we support a resolution to the bone-in issue, we believe South Korea’s policy changes regarding individual case rejection versus entire shipment rejection fits in well with our capabilities”, commented Dennis Buhlke, Creekstone’s President and CEO. Mr. Buhlke added, “We look forward to working with South Korean officials and are confident that we can produce products that meet and exceed their stringent import guidelines”. Creekstone Farms utilizes slower line speed and has one of the most advanced production facilities in world, ensuring production of the highest quality products. Creekstone Farms’ focus is on quality and food safety thus it is ideally suited to meet South Korea’s stringent import specifications. |
