Creekstone Farms was a proud sponsor again at this year's Taste of the Nation Philadelphia. We were proud to have our very own Chef David Katz of Meme fame leading Philadelphia's charge against childhood hunger as the Chef Chair at this year's Taste of the Nation Philadelphia. Joining Katz was Honorary Chair Greg Vernick, and Mixology Chair Phoebe Esmon. This year's event brought together the area's top chefs and restaurants who donated their time, talent and passion to end childhood hunger in America.
Attendees had the opportunity to sample an array of culinary excellence from the best-of-the-best restaurants. Desserts, specialty cocktails, wines, premium beer and a fabulous silent auction rounded out the delicious experience. This year's event was able to raise $45,000 to help end childhood area in the Philadelphia area!
Creekstone Farms also hosted a Beef Tartare Smackdown in which top chef's battled it out for a chance to win the 500 prize on their dish. Chef Townsend Wentz took away the grand prize this year at the event judged by Good Day Philadelphia's Chris Murphy, Chair David Katz and Christine Tanner from Creekstone Farms.
